In the Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Hindu scripture and a sacred text of the Indian spiritual tradition, there are teachings that emphasize stress management through the Yoga of Love, attitude of dedication and acceptance. The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between  Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna, who serves as his divine guide and charioteer. The text  provides profound insights into life, duty, and the path to spiritual realization There are some key principles from the Bhagavad Gita that relate to stress management
through yoga of love and dedicated attitude:

The Bhagavad Gita encourages love for the higher power, often referred to as Bhakti  Yoga. It teaches that connecting one’s actions and thoughts to the divine will,  individuals can find solace and freedom from the anxieties of life. Yoga of love is seen as a way to connect with the transcendent and seek inner peace.  The Gita emphasizes the importance of performing one’s duties and responsibilities  without attachment to the results (Nishkama Karma). By doing so, individuals can reduce stress arising from expectations and worries about the outcomes of their actions.

Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna the importance of moving away from the sense of “I” and “mine” and seeing every action as the divine will. By letting go of the ego’s demands and  desires, one can experience a sense of liberation and reduce stress stemming from
self-centered concerns.

The Bhagavad Gita advises individuals to maintain equanimity in both success and failure. By cultivating a balanced mind, one can avoid excessive elation in success and  debilitating despair in failure, which helps in managing stress. The Gita advocates for meditation (Dhyana Yoga) as a means to control the mind and attain inner peace. Regular meditation practices can reduce stress by calming the mind and improving emotional resilience. Trusting in the divine plan and having faith in the higher power’s wisdom can help individuals cope with stress and uncertainty. This trust fosters a sense of acceptance, knowing that all events unfold according to a greater purpose.
