300 Hour Kundalini Tantra Yoga Teacher Training

Get in touch with your unlimited potential, power, and unconditional love through the variety of Kundalini Tantra practices.

Kundalini Tantra Yoga is an ancient practice consisting of a powerful combination of Asanas, Pranayamas, Mantras (Durga Saptasati and Chandi Patha), Mudras (Control the Mind), Bandhas (Preserve the Pranic energy), Chakras ( Secret Energy), Karma Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

Honouring a Timeless Tradition

Kundalini Tantra Yoga belongs to the Guru-Shishya Parampara tradition, in which wisdom is transmitted from Guru to Shishya (student, disciple). From expert to novice.

Spiritual transmission greatly differs from academic learning. The common teacher has theoretical knowledge with limited experience of the destination to be reached. He teaches to make a living, it’s a profession.

Having fully mastered the practices, the Guru is firmly established in the ultimate which the student is looking to reach. He is simple and humble. His needs are minimal. He teaches out of service to humanity.

Through Spiritual Transmission, you will learn the practices intuitively, not academically, and have a clear experience of the destination through the Guru’s teachings, silence and presence.

We trust and believe greatly in the Guru Shishya Parampara as a way to protect, preserve and transmit sacred knowledge. If you have already learned and practiced some Kundalini techniques through books, youtube or professional teachers, you will discover new depths to your practice when you join us.

This course will teach you the basic and intermediate practices of Kundalini Tantra. These techniques have their origins in cryptic form in the Shaiva Agama Shastras where the wisdom of how to awaken Kundalini was passed down from Lord Shiva to Parvati (Shakti), his divine consort.

However, most of the practices and the instructions on how to perform them have remained secret and transmitted to initiated students only. This is how the knowledge has been kept alive through the ages and this is how you will learn when you study with us !

Are you ready to join the family of great Himalayan Masters ?

Kundalini Awakening

The main aim of the 300 Hours Kundalini Tantra Yoga Teacher Training Course is to safely awaken the Kundalini Chakras and energy channels in order to experience SadaShiva, the supreme consciousness. On the way, you will also experience states that belong to the realm of Shakti, Mother Kali, Durga in the forms of Divine mystic powers and deep Love from within.

As you go deeper into the practices, you will develop your own insights about the meaning of life, and experience growing levels of Happiness, Pleasure, Peace, Harmony and make your way to the higher Samadhi.

Merging the Sun with the Moon

Kundalini Tantra Yoga focusses on combining, balancing, blending the Ida, Pingala, which you could call Yin and Yang, or Shiva and Shakti. They can also be associated to the Sympathetic and the Parasympathetic nervous systems. When these two energy are in balance inside ourselves, Sushumna becomes active. As a result, Kundalini can rise up and we begin to realise the higher perspectives of life.

Beyond Asanas

Kundalini Tantra Yoga is a unique Mystical Science and it is unknown even to most modern Yoga Gurus. Asanas are a preliminary steps in the practice of Yoga, yet it is the stage at which most teacher end their teaching.

Yoga is so much more than Asanas. Yoga is about experiencing Oneness, dissolving our ego, becoming more loving, developing Divine qualities in ourselves, knowing God intimately, merging with God!

Yoga is about experiencing deep meditation which energise, purify and enlighten our mind and life. Yoga is about so much more that attending weekly Asana classes… If you feel the same, and what to go deeper, we have what you have been looking for.

Spiritual Growth Starts at the End of Your Comfort Zone  !

To succeed on this path, self-practice is a must. You will need to develop and refine your skills and awareness. You will need to develop mastery of the tools for your own growth and to become a true teacher. Your stay at Ashram will give you the opportunity to establish strong foundation for self-discipline which will become one of your best asset in the future.

In developing self-discipline, the lower mind is often tempted to find excuses and faults outside ourselves to sabotage our resolve.

In life, all desires can never be totally fulfilled. It is not different here. An Ashram will always offer some basic challenges which are small-scale versions of the challenges you face in your day to day life. These will give you the chance to see yourself in how you handle situations and give you opportunities to develop healthier attitudes and understanding.

While providing a highly conducive environment for spiritual growth and making sure that all your essential needs are met, the Ashram will give you meaningful opportunities and tools to over come self-defeating tendencies.

Each student will naturally face personal difficulties during the program, these will test your ability to observe your mind, accept things as they are, go with the flow without blaming. This way we take full responsibility of our state of mind. Once mastered,  this skill gives you the ability to find peace and contentment wherever you are, whatever the circumstances.

Let food be thy medicine

You need not think too much about what you eat. You need to focus on what you can digest. Food served at the Ashram is intentionally simple and sattvic. Minimal spices, oil and salt are used. It might take a few days to adapt, after which, you will certainly notice the effects on your digestive system, appetite and energy level. Every meal is freshly cooked with local vegetables and fruits. To maintain a calm mind and optimal level of energy during the course, students should not eat in the market and restaurants outside except fruits.

What are the differences between the 200 hour TTC and 300 hour TTC ?

1. Focus on Self Practice

The 300 TTC is all about training yourself, not only about teaching others. To become a qualified kundalini tantra yoga teacher, it is very important to develop a strong personal practice. For that purpose, the 300h course structure gives more focus and time for self practice.

2. Focus on calming your mind

The 300 TTC is not as much about asanas practice, it is all about how to develop a calm and quietness of the mind.

3. Focus on deeper understanding

The 300 TTC goes deeper into the study and understanding of the sutras.

“Sthiram sukham asanam”

For example, Sage Patanjali speaks of asana as sthiram sukham asanam. Does it mean that asana is that in which one is sthira and sukhi, or does it mean that sthirata and sukha are outcomes of practicing asana? Sthiram and sukham, stability and comfort, are the outcome of asana practice. Since they come as a result of asana practice, the posture themselves itself becomes steady.

Who can sit for five minutes without moving? Stillness does not come naturally, for stillness is not the nature of the five senses. The entire body is governed by the senses. Distractions in the body are caused by the senses. Distractions and disturbances in the mind are caused by the senses.

When you practise asana, you need to know that you are not just practicing a physical posture. The body does take on a physical posture, however the effect of it is to reduce the hyperactivity of the senses. Once the hyperactivity of the senses is reduced, the body enters into a state of comfort and ease. Then a posture can be maintained for a longer period of time.

“Atha yogah anushasanam”

Patanjali is advocating only those asanas which are static and comfortable. His first sutra is: Atha yogah anushasanam – ‘Now, instructions on raja yoga’. This is interpreted by many people as meaning that raja yoga is a continuation of a previous yoga, and that previous yoga is hatha yoga. By the time you come to raja yoga, you have done all the physical movements that you need to do. Therefore, the focus of raja yoga is not on the practice of asana, but on the maintenance of the physical posture.

If you do vrischikasana, sirshasana, mayurasana, or surya namaskara, in a manner in which you are experiencing steadiness and comfort in all the different movements and postures, you will be fulfilling the criteria of Sage Patanjali.

The stillness of body and mind in a posture will lead you to pratyahara, introversion. Although stillness and comfort are the outcome of the asana practice, you have to remember that the statement is being made in relation to the stillness leading to pratyahara.

4. Practice makes perfect !

The 300 Hours TTC keeps a focus on what you have been practicing in the 200 hours TTC. A  lot of things from the 200H TTC need to be repeated, and practiced again and again to reach mastery, it is normal. Without basic and intermediate techniques you cannot go forward. To be successful in your Kundalini Tantra Yoga Practice, you need a lot of mental and physical stability. However, many students are not ready to truly practice Kundalini Tantra. The missing part of them  is not about physical training. What they need most is mental and psychological training.

Actually, the practices of Kundalini Tantra need no argument and logical discussion to give results, one simply needs to surrender to the teachings teachings, practice them, and experience the results and understand them through their own practice.
