Yoga – Advait Vedanta Course
1st september to 30 October 2023
Swami Samarpan Ashram will be conducting the first 2 month Yoga – Advait Vedanta Course in the tradition of Vedic and Shaiva Agama Tantric perspectives as revealed by Lord Shiva. This Course will be supervised by Living Himalayan Master Guruji Avadhuta Samarpananandaji and guided by Acharya Swami Viswarupanandaji along with many other traditional Acharyas (Teachers).
You are going to learn and practice Yogic and Vedantic life style in a traditional Ashram, developing a strong foundation in your life which will help you better handle the daily stress and strain of modern life. You will develop a broad and thorough understanding of yogic philosophy and develop stronger conviction to support your practice.
You will also enjoy the many benefits of simple and healthy daily routine with spiritually minded people.
Most people now a days learn yoga through youtube, books or yoga teacher training, which does provide a good exposure, but often fails to transmit the true spirit of Yoga and its goal.
This program will give you the unique opportunity to connect with traditional yogic practices and to learn the way sincere spiritual seekers have been learning since the age of time, in a Gurukula, through direct contact and guidance of a traditional Spiritual Master.
The Shaiva Agama is the primordial spiritual science which was taught by Adi Dev Lord Shiva to Mother Parvati Adi Shakti as his disciple, not as his consort and wife.
As it was between Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, the Yogic tradition has been passed in an unbroken stream of knowledge and guidance through the Guru Disciple relationship originating from Lord Shiva reaching us today. This transcendental and as well Verbal tradition will remain unbroken until we merge back with Shiva Tattva, the highest liberation.
Swami Samarpan Ashram is a traditional Ashram conducting various courses on Yoga, meditation, Shaiva Agama Tantra, Kriya Yoga, Ayurveda and Vedanta. The Ashram is situated in serene location with lush vegetation and mountain views, it is nested next to a small river which joins with the Mother Ganges 2 km below in the famous town of Rishikesh, foot hill of the Himalayas. Being in the Ashram itself will give you great peace of mind.
